Some Advice on Booking your airfare
If you were to fly out of your home country to Lima on Friday, the 17th of April, you could easily arrive in Lima in time to catch an early morning flight to Iquitos. If you time it right, you can arrive and depart in a short time, without having to leave the airport in Lima. You may, however, arrive at 1am and fly out to Iquitos at 7am, which still isn't that bad. It is also possible to fly on Saturday, the 18th and arrive late that night or early Sunday morning. You might miss the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Presentation, but provided you could get to Iquitos by 10am, you would not miss much. This allows for travelling through Saturday night if necessary, and taking one of the early morning flights from Lima to Iquitos.
IF TIME IS NOT AN ISSUE THEN COME EARLY and enjoy some of the sites that Iquitos has to offer in a more intimate number. Arrive and register well rested and comfortable, as well as more familiar with your surroundings. Arrive on the 15th or 16th and help to welcome the registrants, or spend some free time on your own in Iquitos and the surrounding area. Let us know if you would like any suggestions for arriving early. We would be happy to advise you places to stay and activities that are available.
As for flying back, the seminar ends at 1pm on Sunday morning, the 26th, but if you needed to you could miss the Closing Ceremony and Thank You Presentation and leave on an early morning flight to Lima, and then fly out the same day so that you'll arrive late that night. Should you decide to book a two week stay, the additional programs offered will end at 2pm on Saturday, May 2nd. You will be able to fly to Lima that evening or the following morning with time to fly back home and arrive late Sunday night, May 3rd. Of course, if time is not an issue, then take your time and make your travel as comfortable and stress-free as possible by giving yourself ample time to rest and relax.
How to Book It
The best way to arrange for convenient travel to Iquitos is to first...
- Look at the schedule for flights from Lima to Iquitos for the day you wish to travel, in this case it will most likely be Saturday, the 18th of April. www.enjoy-peru-flights.com
- Write down the flight departure times from Lima, which are usually all morning and afternoon.
- Don't book anything yet, though.
- Now, go look for airfare to Lima. See what time the flights from your home country arrive in Lima and coordinate an arrival time into Lima that is near the departure times out of Lima that you have written down.
- Remember that you should give yourself at least two hours from the arrival time in Lima to the departure from Lima to Iquitos to go through customs at the airport and to get and recheck your luggage.
- When you find the two flights that work best together, purchase the tickets.
- Send us your flight information once you have booked your flights. |
