EXTENDED RETREATS AND TOURS
After the retreat you will have the option to do an additional six day retreat with one of the teachers from the seminar, or a tour with one of the sponsor companies attending the seminar. If you feel you know which tour or retreat you would like to attend already, then you may contact them to make arrangements for your stay. However, if you would like to attend the seminar first and get to know the curanderos and the other tours being offered before making your decision, you may do so. There will be ample time during the last day of the seminar to make all the necessary arrangements for the following week. However, space may be limited and reserving your spot early provides the best chance that you will get to attend the retreat or tour that you desire. Below is a list of some of the programs being offered after the seminar:

	CURANDERO PROGRAMS Programs will take place at the centers and lodges used during the seminar, as well as jungle camps further out in the rainforest. Boat travel and/or hiking may be required to get out to the program locations. All of the extended retreats are for six days unless otherwise noted. Extensions beyond this will have to be arranged personally. more info
	RESERVE TOURS Two National Reserves will offerspecial tours for the week after the event. They will be less related to curanderismo and more focused on the plants and animals of the Amazon Rainforest of Peru. more info
	INDIGENOUS RETREATS The retreats will give participants the opportunity to live within the indigenous community, where you will learn the traditional culture by being immersed in it. Watch and participate in the making of traditional clothing and jewelry, prepare and eat indigenous dishes, and listen to and learn the customs and language. more info
	VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES Many of these volunteer opportunities will last longer than one week. You may decide that you'd like to stay and live in Iquitos or the surrounding area for a while. Some organizations offer accomodations as well. more info

The extended retreats and tours will begin on Monday, April 28th and will end on Saturday, May 2nd. Everyone will be encouraged to meet up at the Amazon Cafe on Saturday evening for a meal and to have final discussions with other participants before heading home. It is our hope that these two weeks will have a profound impact on your life, and will forever change the way you view the world and reality itself.
